Description
This listing is for PRO-SET INF-114 Infusion Resin only. You will need to select an appropriate PRO-SET Infusion Hardener from one of the suggested hardeners which can be found below.
PRO-SET Infusion Epoxies are super low viscosity systems with a range of hardeners to meet the demands of a modern infusion processes. The INF-114 custom line of infusion epoxies are used to fabricate lightweight, high performance composites that will withstand long term cyclic loading in the harshest environments. This is due to PRO-SET’s thorough development and testing, resulting in excellent physical properties at room temperature that may be post-cured to further enhance performance as desired.
PROSET INF-114 combined with any of the selected hardeners provide rapid saturation of fiberglass, Kevlar®, and carbon fiber fabrics. This combination is formulated specifically for resin infusion and VARTM processes. With thermal properties promoting Tg temps over 190°F the system yields a stable, cost effective, high performance epoxy formulation for your design. PRO-SET Infusion hardeners range from fast to extra slow, and may be blended to provide even greater versatility with your custom processes.
PRO-SET INF-210: Fast Infusion Hardener provides ~75-90 minutes of working time at 77°F. A typical laminate will be gelled in about 2 to 3 hours.
PRO-SET INF-211: Medium Infusion Hardener provides ~3-4 hours working time and gel time of ~8 hours.
PRO-SET INF-212: Slow Infusion Hardener provides ~6-7 hours working time and gel time of ~12 hours.
PRO-SET INF-213: Extra-Slow Infusion Hardener provides ~10 hours working time at and gel time of ~14 to 18 hours.
PRO-SET provides a dynamic array of technical data that allows you to engineer and tailor your composite to the needed material properties, with effective post cure cycles as needed. Be sure to check out the specification page and TDS sheets for all comprehensive mechanical and thermal system properties.
This infusion system is not for use in open mold applications.
Infusion Epoxies can be dyed, upon request, to provide for visual quality control. A yellow dye in the resin and a blue dye in the hardener, when properly metered and thoroughly mixed, will result in a consistent shade of green.
PRO-SET systems provide an extended shelf life of 3 years for resins and 2 years for hardeners when properly stored.
